The pearls of the Gulf of Naples. For those who love the sea and relaxation without giving up the mundane, a trip to the beautiful islands of Ischia, Procida and Capri is a must. Scattered like colorful fishing boats in the blue expanse of the Gulf of Naples, the islands are a popular and much sought-after destination, and none of the three can be excluded from the itinerary because of their anything but homogeneous character.
Ischia, the green island. We will be based in Ischia, the largest of the archipelago, a fascinating mosaic of lush gardens, buried necropolis and spectacular landscapes lapped by an emerald sea. It is its healing, sulfurous waters that are considered its most precious treasure, known since antiquity when temples were even built to worship them.
The wonders of Procida and Capri. From here we will arrange day trips to the other islands: Procida, an authentic seaside village with colorful architecture that is reflected in the sea and has been the backdrop for numerous films. And then, a gem of the Phlegrean archipelago: fashionable Capri, a seductive blend of fairy-tale beauty and fun, which over the centuries has won over Roman emperors, doctors, intellectuals and Hollywood stars.

Itinerary
This tour is provided on the Slow formula. You will stay in one hotel for the duration of the trip, and each day you can choose to have the day off or take part in the optional excursions we provide.
Departure - Naples - Ischia
TOUR BY BUS: We depart in the morning from the chosen location to Campania. There are stops for refreshments and free lunch along the way. We reach Naples and embark for the island of Ischia. Dinner is included at the hotel.
TOUR BY AIRPLANE: We land in Naples and upon arrival are taken to the port, where we embark for the island of Ischia. Upon arrival at the hotel we have free time at leisure before dinner.
Procida
In the morning we leave by motorboat for the island of Procida. Arriving at the port of Marina Grande, we begin our tour of the island by minibus, stopping for scenic stops along the way. We visit the Abbey of St. Michael the Archangel, and later stroll through the historic village of Procida and stop at the Belvedere dei Cannoni, from where we can admire one of the locations of the film “Il Postino.” Lunch is provided at the restaurant. We return to Marina Grande where we have some free time available for a walk and some shopping. We return to Ischia for dinner.
Ischia
We devote the morning to a guided tour of Ischia, the largest of the Neapolitan islands. We discover its most characteristic locations during the various stops along the way: Ischia, Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, Forio, Serrara Fontana and Barano. Lunch is free and the afternoon is at leisure, with an optional excursion to La Mortella Gardens, a splendid subtropical Mediterranean garden desired by Susana Walton, Argentine wife of composer William Walton. Dinner at the hotel.
Ischia
Today’s entire day is at leisure to spend time relaxing by the pool or sea, or visiting the hotel spa. Lunch is free and dinner is included at the hotel. Those who wish can join an optional guided tour of the Aragonese Castle, an ancient fortress erected to defend the island in the 15th century, in the morning.
Capri
Today’s entire day is devoted to an excursion to Capri, which we reach by motorboat. We arrive by minibus in Anacapri and visit Villa San Michele, from which there is a splendid panorama. Back on Capri we stroll to the Gardens of Augustus, from where there is a unique view of the famous Faraglioni rocks. After free lunch, weather conditions permitting, we participate in an optional boat excursion among picturesque caves and coves. We return to Ischia for a free dinner.
Ischia
Today’s entire day is at leisure for relaxation or independent sightseeing, with lunch free. In the afternoon, those who wish can participate in an optional boat tour of the island of Ischia, lasting about 3 hours, with a stop at the quaint village of Sant’Angelo. Dinner is included.
Pozzuoli - Return
TOUR BY BUS: In the morning we start our return journey. Stops are scheduled along the way. Lunch is free and arrival is expected in the evening.
TOUR BY AIRPLANE: we say goodbye to the tour leader and the rest of the group. Depending on the flight schedule, we may have some free time to devote to shopping or sightseeing on our own before being dropped off at Naples airport in time for departure.
